Description
Composed in 1955, this very early piece by major American composer Charles Wuorinen is interesting both as a musical work and as a source of insight into the beginnings of the development of his compositional style. Although it is simpler in instrumentation and material, the clarity of structure that characterizes Wuorinen's mature works is already evident here.
