A must have for the gigging drumset player

It won't be long until everyone has switched to these stands. They are SO much lighter than the average cymbal stand. When you are loading in and out of a gig, every pound matters. The hardware bag is significantly lighter when you are playing with this "Lightweight Hardware." Every drummer and band director should invest in these and replace their old ones. They are sturdy and function just as well as heavier hardware (in my experience over the last year with the Crosstown Advanced Lightweight Hardware Combo Pack). Here are my only suggestions to Yamaha for developing this product further: -The hi-hat stand could use retractable spikes on the bottom, to keep it from sliding (I'm sure this would increase the price, but it'd be worth it, seeing as this is the future of hardware, in my opinion). -I'd like to see a boom stand developed for the Lightweight Hardware series. It may be a little heavier than this cymbal stand, and maybe more expensive, but I would definitely buy it to complete my set. I'm sure it would still be way lighter than the average boom stand.
