Yamaha made a simple, no-nonsense product here. It ties to your tension rod so it doesn't go anywhere. And it's soft enough but heavy enough that it reduces overtones by the perfect amount. My snare rolls and soft single strokes come through nice and clear. Get one to hang on all your concert snares.
