Sturdy and lightweight

I play in a community band , separate snare and bass. Using this stand removes a lot of weight from my case. Makes carrying in and out a lot easier. Yamaha's rep for sturdy hardware, coupled with the lightness of the stand makes this a no brainer for the traveling drummer. Highly recommend if you need a concert height snare stand. My previous stand weighed 10 pounds this is about 3 pounds!
