Description
The Yamaha CXR12 mk3 is a passive 12" speaker that works well as a main PA speaker, a floor monitor, or a side fill. It needs an external amplifier to run, which makes it a flexible option for setups where you're already running a power amp. It handles up to 550W of program power and produces up to 124dB of peak SPL, which is plenty of volume for small to mid-sized venues. The lightweight molded enclosure is easy to move around, and dual pole mount sockets let you angle the speaker straight or tilted 7° down toward the audience. When paired with a Yamaha PX Series amplifier, you get access to tuning presets specifically dialed in for this speaker.
