The CXS15 mk3 uses a bandpass enclosure design with Yamaha's own long-excursion 15" driver and 3" voice coil, engineered to minimize distortion and wind noise even at high output levels. The cabinet is plywood with a scratch-resistant polyurea coating, built to take the wear of regular transport and installation. Dual M20/35mm pole sockets give you flexibility in how you configure it, and optional covers and caster kits are available for touring or mobile applications.

Pair it with a Yamaha PX or PC-D Series amplifier and you unlock dedicated DSP presets, cardioid mode for stage-side bass reduction, and full system optimization. Works seamlessly with CXR mk3 full-range speakers as a matched system.
