The Yamaha DSU50 Drum Sensor Unit is a uniquely designed drum microphone specifically engineered to capture the natural sound of an acoustic drum kit. The enhanced DSU50 sensor securely attaches to virtually any acoustic bass drum hoop and can also be mounted on a microphone, camera, or lighting stand with 3/8-inch threading, offering increased flexibility in capturing high-quality stereo images of your entire kit.

In addition to its role as a microphone, the DSU50 features a dedicated kick-trigger, which converts each bass drum strike into a precise trigger signal for the EAD50 module. This functionality allows seamless layering of samples in perfect synchronization with your acoustic playing.

The DSU50 connects via XLR cables, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of signal processors, amplifiers, and loudspeaker systems.
