The Soft Mallet from the Yamaha Keiko Abe Mallet Series is the MKAW07. The rubber core is wrapped with a 1mm tube is covered in a high quality yarn. The Birch shaft measures in 430mm and will feel extremely well balanced.

This mallet will be perfect for the lower octaves of a graduated set but could also work in some creative sets where the softer voice is the soprano or alto.
