"Chasing The Caribou" is a really cool sounding piece, despite it having a... strange name I guess... It comes with 3 parts, all for marimba, all using 4 mallets: -The first part plays on the lower octaves of the marimba (requires a low A). This part is pretty easy to learn and memorize for the most part. -The second part plays in the middle octaves. Easier than the first part except for a couple weird transitions and at the end of the piece. -The third part plays on the higher octaves and is definitely the most difficult. But it is also the most fun and the best sounding of the three parts (in my opinion.). It has a really cool solo in the middle that requires good hand eye coordination and speed. You also need to be able to subdivide 5lets.
