Exactly what one should expect- this is my idea of what crotales should sound like, and the crotale bar does its job and appears totally durable.
Description
The Zildjian Low Octave Crotale Set with A440 Tuning includes 13 individual crotales covering a complete chromatic octave from C6 to C7. Crotales, also called antique cymbals, are discs of cast bronze alloy that are tuned to specific pitches. They have a bright, biting attack followed by a complex, overtone-rich wash. Zildjian created the first widely available chromatic crotale sets, and their instruments continue to be used and trusted by symphony orchestras, percussion ensembles, and touring groups around the globe. Please note: The mounting bar and stand are not included with this set and must be purchased separately.
