In addition to the Student Percussion Kit (drum pad and bells / xylophone), all percussion students in 8th Grade Band are required to possess the following equipment:

- Innovative Percussion F12 Medium Hard Xylophone/Bell Mallets (Qty: 1 pair)
- Innovative Percussion General Timpani Mallets GTX-4 (Qty: 1 pair)
- A music stand
It is HIGHLY recommended that students also acquire the following:

- Innovative Percussion IP-240 Marimba Mallets (Qty: 2 pairs)
