Remo Emperor Renaissance Crimplock Tenor Drumhead - 14"

The 14" Remo Emperor Renaissance Crimplock Tenor Drumhead is engineered to provide a dark, warm, focused tone. Constructed with two plies of 7.5mil film (15mil total), this head offers excellent durability and controlled sustain. These heads are especially well suited for WGI and Indoor Percussion Environments. They're also favored by drum corps and marching bands who perform outdoors but prefer a more traditional sound.

The defining characteristic of the Renaissance series is its proprietary texture coating. This surface treatment gives the head a warm frequency response and a softer feel under the stick, closely mimicking the acoustic properties of traditional calfskin while remaining completely stable during outdoor weather and humidity shifts. To support the high-torque demands of modern marching percussion, Remo utilizes their Duralock Crimplock hoop design. This system mechanically locks the film inside the hoop, preventing the film from pulling out under high tension.
