The Remo Powermax 2 Ebony Crimplock 22" Marching Bass Drumhead is a 2-ply head that offers serious punch and durability. Two plies of 7-mil Ebony film and a Bottom Black Dot in the center deliver excellent wear resistance, while still delivering a focused, powerful sound that works for both outdoor and indoor performance. A reliable option for marching band, drum corps, high school drumline, and competitive programs at the WGI and DCI level.

The pre-installed free-floating muffling ring promotes a quick decay, keeping notes clean and well-defined so that splits don't sound muddy. The Crimplock hoop adds stability, and allows the head to hold up under high-tension.
