Open sounding, they provide musical sizzle with more wash than typical hats - a result of their higher profile and lighter weight. Foot sound is solid, without ever being heavy. While they are a versatile pairing, they're perfect for a jazz or big band set-up.
The Hammertone line was developed with veteran Jazz artist Jeff Hamilton - renowned for a very musical cymbal sound.
