The Innovative Percussion Bret Kuhn Model 2 is called the Velocity model. The FSBK2 features an oval bead and a quicker taper than the FSBK. This will give the stick a faster rebound. A faster rebound will assist players at all levels to meet the physical demands of today's high velocity tempos and snare drum parts.

These are by far my favorite pair of marching sticks out there! They feel great. The only reason I rated it a 4 was because I specified for a higher pitched pair in the comments and received a darker and lower pitched pair. Totally cool, though, they still feel great! That's just my personal sound preference. Thanks!
