We have a small practice marimba at our school, and I wanted a good entry-level mallet for basic 4-mallet technique. These played well across the whole instrument - not 'clunky' on the low end, not 'mushy' on the high end.
Does as described .... excellent value for beginning four mallet instruction.
Very light for quick action but not good for vibraphone. I received a pair with a MalletKat midi controller and found them to be not the best choice.A heavier mallet is needed.
