Out of all the mallets I have purchased/used thus far, these are some of the best mallets I've ever had the pleasure of practicing with. The build of the mallet is great; the length is typical for a birch mallet, the bottom end is smooth and doesn't irritate your hand, and the head size is consistent among the three mallets. It blew my mind how warm the sound was while still maintaining a very subtle level of articulation; the blend between the two is perfect, and that goes for all three mallets as well. The only issue I had with them, which is consistent with me for all mallets, is that the shaft is VERY smooth and I had to put some grip tape on the handle (Adam Tan has a good video on this idea). This is a must-have series in your collection, especially considering the price!
