The Innovative Thomas Burritt TB2 Marimba Mallet is the medium soft mallet of the series. The TB2 delivers a great soft articulation. It sounds rich throughout the entire range of a 5 octave marimba. A perfect mallet for the Bach Cello Suites. The Burritt Mallets feature synthetic cores with loosely wrapped soft yarn. Special attention was paid to the balance of this mallet ensuring the player will have complete timbre control while reducing the attack.

They're decently heavy but produce a very rich sound. It's very soft material so they show up already pretty fuzzy even new out of the box, but the sound is really great on the majority of the marimba.
