These are a great jack of all trades stick. I love the grooves in the stick that make them have a nice grip.

Starting out these sticks didn't seem the best. Our college drumline began using these this season and we have began to really like them.

Having used aluminum tenor mallets for years, the switch to the TS1 was the easiest choice our line ever made. The sticks DO feel long and they produce a warm clear tone. They tend to wear out a little too quickly, so buy two pair to last the whole season.
