This lightweight Ron Vaughn solid Poplar shell tambourine is a 10” diameter, staggered-pattern, double row, natural skin concert tambourine. With Ron’s original fluted, or ‘crimped-edge’ full size T-10 Secco jingles, this instrument will produces terrific articulation within a wide dynamic range. This instrument‘s voice is a crispy, crunchy, toasty, chippy, quick dry sound.

The RV-4525.0001.Cng provides great sound control for parts requiring good articulation in a range from very soft to moderately loud dynamics. Instrument construction combines a strong, light weight solid poplar shell with a beautifully tensioned, hardware-free mounted, natural skin head. As a 10” diameter instrument, the light weight solid poplar shell provides ‘quick-in-hand’ control for some of the most demanding parts in tambourine performance.
