This has a very nice, pure tone. However there is probably something in your kitchen that sounds close enough to this to where the price doesn't really seem reasonable anymore. If you can find a use for it, go ahead, but listen to videos or test it out in person first. This is a specific note, like on a set of bells. No overtones. I prefer zil-bels and other similar ice bells, and Paiste cup chimes and accent cymbals.
