These Sabian Single Note Bass Crotale are precisely tuned to the pitches A5 - B5 for performances like Rain Tree by Toru Takemitsu.

Sabian Crotales feature countersunk center holes to accept recessed rubber caps, and the bars include shorter mounting pins. This combination allows the caps to sit almost flush with the Crotale surface, greatly reducing the possibility of extraneous noise when performing. This design also allows for greater control of the Crotale while bowing - without compromising the sound.
