The Sabian Hybrid snares have been created to deliver a crisp and tight tone. 20 strands means snare tone plus the sound of the drum. The Hybrid adds 8 strands of high-carbon stainless steel in the center to provide a natural EQ effect bringing out your drum's low end while retaining a crisp attack. A larger coils increases the space between winds and reduces snare-to-head contact delivers a fatter tone that is less staccato.
