The asymmetric 2-ply design — 7-mil top over 7.5-mil bottom — delivers tonal clarity and projection while Evans' Sound Shaping Technology (SST) targets unwanted overtones to keep attack and note definition clean. The result is a head that holds pitch and stays consistent through a full competitive marching band season without a lot of maintenance.
