Sound Shaping Technology keeps each stroke defined and the tone focused even at high volumes, while the asymmetric 2-ply construction — 7-mil top over 7.5-mil bottom — holds pitch without needing constant attention through a demanding competitive marching band season. The System Blue came out of a collaboration with the Blue Devils drum corps, and the program's standards are baked into the design.
