Remo also uses Ebony film on its marching bass heads, so pairing this tenor head with those is a great way to achieve a uniform look across your entire battery.

Between the 7-mil Ebony top ply and the 7-mil Clear Mylar bottom ply sits Remo's pinstripe dampening ring, which focuses the tone and reduces unwanted overtones for clear, controlled articulation. The sound profile is similar to a Clear Pinstripe, but slightly warmer and drier due to the Ebony top film. The high-tension Crimplock hoop provides the tuning stability and durability that indoor and outdoor marching percussion programs need.
