Remo Pinstripe Ebony Crimplock Marching Tenor Drumhead - 12"

The Remo Pinstripe Ebony Crimplock 12" Marching Tenor Drumhead sets itself apart from the rest of Remo's tenor lineup with its clean, reflective black finish. For those who like the sound and response of a clear head but prefer the look of black marching tenor heads, this head offers both. Remo also uses Ebony film for their bass heads, so this is also a great choice for directors who want a uniform appearance across the whole drumline.

This 2-ply marching drumhead is constructed with a 7-mil Ebony top ply and a 7-mil Clear Mylar bottom ply. An internal Pinstripe dampening ring is situated between the plies to reduce overtones and improve articulation. The resulting sound profile is similar to a Clear Pinstripe, but slightly warmer and drier due to the Ebony film. For durability and tuning stability, the head is built with a high-tension Crimplock hoop to withstand the demands of indoor and outdoor marching percussion ensembles.
