Remo Powermax Ebony Crimplock Marching Bass Drumhead - 18"

The Remo Powermax Ebony Crimplock 18" Marching Bass Drumhead is a marching bass head designed for ensembles that want the wide tuning range of a 1-ply head without dealing with some of the challenges that 1-ply heads often present. The 10-mil Ebony film projects better than a double ply head, and the Bottom Black Dot reinforces the center to extend the head's lifespan beyond what a standard single-ply head would offer, and helps prevent the head from stretching out quickly.

The pre-installed free-floating muffling ring promotes a quick decay, keeping each note tight and articulate. This is especially important for the higher voices in the bass line. The Crimplock hoop is designed to handle the tension this head needs to speak and respond properly.
