The Remo Powermax Ebony Crimplock 24" Marching Bass Drumhead is a 1-ply marching bass head that delivers open, focused low-end tone with a strong attack. The 10-mil Ebony film gives it a sleek look and some of the open, resonant character you'd expect from a single-ply head. The Bottom Black Dot in the center adds a layer of reinforcement in the playing zone, making it noticeably more resistant to denting and stretching out quickly. It's a good fit for marching band, drum corps, and competitive indoor and outdoor marching ensembles at any level.

The pre-installed free-floating muffling ring keeps the tone controlled with a quick decay, so notes speak cleanly without lingering and covering up other parts of quick bass splits. The high-tension Crimplock hoop provides added tuning stability, and ensures that the head will hold up under high-tension.
