The Remo Powermax Ebony Crimplock 20" Marching Bass Drumhead is a 1-ply marching bass head that brings resonant, focused tone and strong attack to the upper mid-range of the bass line. The single ply of 10-mil Ebony film gives it an expressive, open sound that projects well both on the field and in the arena, and the Bottom Black Dot in the center strike zone reinforces the film against heavy mallet contact, adding durability where a standard single-ply head would wear down fastest. A solid choice for marching band, drum corps, high school drumline, and competitive programs at the WGI and DCI level.

The pre-installed free-floating muffling ring keeps sustain controlled with a quick decay, so the note speaks cleanly but doesn't linger. The high-tension Crimplock hoop gives this head the tuning range and stability it needs to perform and respond properly.
