Brandywine School District

The following is a complete list of recommended supplies for percussionists in the Brandywine School District percussion sections. This is designed so percussionists can gradually build their own personal inventory of sticks and mallets, preparing them to play a variety of percussion instruments. It is my belief that students should personally own and be responsible for their sticks, mallets and accessories. All equipment need not be purchased at one time, but may be spread out as the student’s skills develop. Click the corresponding class to view your suggested equipment. These are my favorite “picks of the sticks” that have worked well for our students, but comparable items are acceptable as well.
