Congratulations on being chosen as a Beginner Percussionist!!! We are looking forward to all of the great memories we will make during your time in band. The following consists of the complete list of what will be required during your enrollment in the 6th grade percussion class at Norman Junior High. It is required that you have all of the equipment listed prior to starting your 1st day of class in the fall (metronome is only required for students who DO NOT have a smart phone). If your child has a smartphone, they can download a metronome app for FREE instead. I will show students which metronome to download on the first day of school). Purchasing this equipment is designed to help you be able to practice at home, participate fully in the class, and ultimately get the best possible learning experience for both you and your classmates.
