AMAZING Tambourine

This is what I'd call the 'ideal' tambourine sound. First of all, it looks great, responds very well to any sort of abrasive for thumb rolls (I use rosin), and most importantly: it sounds great! The jingles are hammered nicely around the edges, and then point-hammered for that extra bit of resonance when held at the right angle. I've used this instrument for Stravinsky's 'Petroushka' and Rimsky-Korsakov's 'Scheherazade' and have achieved fantastic sounds on both recordings. If you are looking to purchase a great sounding all-purpose tambourine, this is the one for you.
