This stick is designed to destroy the Earth. It is very heavy and quite large, yet still has some bite to it. Big single notes, Verdi Requiem—you get the idea. Use with caution.
The DragonFly Percussion “Urethane Series” bass drum sticks are a punchy, powerful set of mallets. The urethane core is much heavier than wood, making it a top-heavy stick. The result is excellent articulation and projection without sacrificing low frequencies. The fleece covering minimizes contact “tick”, without losing clarity. These are an updated version of a former Dragonfly bass drum mallet that used a skateboard wheel core. All mallets are 15″ in length on a 7/8″ maple handle.
