Gretsch Brooklyn Series Drum Sets have a distinctive sound associated with the neighborhood of Gretsch's origin. These handcrafted drums reflect the warm open tone Gretsch Drums has made famous over the years. 6 ply top quality North American and Maple and Poplar is the key to the rich sound of these drum shells. The shells are finished of with the internal Silver Sealer and 30 degree bearing edges. 302 Double Flanged Hoops on the snare and toms contribute to the warmth punchy tones. The 302 hoop is a modern version of the hoops used on vintage Gretsch kits.
