The bamboo shafts are amazing and light, so these are very comfortable to play on the timpani. They are very expensive, but the quality is the best ever! In my opinion, B4 sounds similar to MO3 which makes quite soft, but strong sounds as well :) Highly recommended for everyone!

The Best Mallets Ever!

I was completely fascinated by these Berlin Series No.4 mallets! The bamboo shafts are very light and bounce back really well from the timpani head. Although these are the most expensive JG mallets, they are the best mallets. B4 sounds somewhat similar to JP2 and MO3, but B4 sounds softer than JP2 and MO3, so B4 fits for playing medium and soft rolls. I highly recommend these mallets to everyone, and I'm also interested to buy other Berlin Series mallets.
