JGpercussion NS1 Nick Stoup Timpani Mallets - Product Information
Designed in collaboration with world-class musician Nick Stoup, JGpercussion is proud to introduce the Nick Stoup Signature Series timpani mallets.
With rubberized cork cores on hand-selected bamboo shafts, these mallets have more weight due to the dense core - which also gives a darker sound with a lot of fundamental pitch.
Formerly available only as custom mallets, each pair is made from bamboo 11mm in diameter. Each pair comes fitted with a European-style handle grip.
Nick Stoup was Principal Percussionist and Assistant Timpanist of the Palau de les Artes opera house in Valencia Spain from 2006-2011. He is currently freelancing in the Los Angeles area.
