The Roland TD-07KVX V-Drums electronic drum set is a huge leap forward for the V-Drums. This is the perfect set for home, rehearsals, recording, or performance. Designed to be easy to use without taking up a lot of space, the TD-07KVX is a great all in one solution. The features that set the KVX apart from other configurations are a separately mounted VH-10 floating hi-hat, an uprated CY-12C crash, and a large 13-inch CY-13R ride that let you reach your true potential. You also get the PDX-12 snare and three PDX-8 toms, backed with the unrivaled feel of our original ultra-quiet, double-ply mesh heads.
The TD-07 Drum Sound Module provides improved playability and performance with incredibly expressive and natural sounds. It also offers a variety of powerful features, including playing along with your favorite songs via bluetooth, and the ability to use the module as an audio midi interface via USB. This allows for recording of the audio signal from the module as well as midi data direct to your favorite DAW.
The TD-07 also works with Melodics, an online lesson system. This team up provides access to 40 lessons. Melodics is a desktop app that connects to your V-Drums. By playing along to step-by-step lessons and tracks, you can learn new beats, build your rhythm and timing, record yourself, and discover where you can improve with the playback feature.
Roland took great care to get the mesh head drum pads right. The playability and stick feel are natural and you really feel like you are interacting with an instrument and not just a pad. The PDX-8 mesh head snare pad has an expanded rim and is dual triggered for snare sound and rim sounds. Play side stick or lay into a fat rim shot. The cymbal, hi-hat, kick and tom pads are also designed for maximum response and playability.
