The Mark Sherman MS1 mallets from Salyers Percussion are designed to meet the needs of the working vibe player. They have a big sound that will sing through on solos yet never sound too harsh. They feature a large rubber inner core for a big full tone and rattan shafts that are matched by diameter and flex.

The MS1 and MS2 mallets were designed to meet the needs of Mark Sherman. In addition to being an in demand live and recording artist, Mark teaches in the Juilliard School Jazz Department.

These mallets are great for general purpose playing on vibraphone and can actually be used for general 2-mallet playing on marimba as well! The weight of the mallets feel great, and make it easier for the player to produce a big sound.
