This bag is very sturdy and well padded. I expect it to last as long or longer than the snare drum itself. There are no extra external or internal pockets, but this bag does its main purpose and does it well for a good price. I recommend this for a percussionist that will be storing or moving their snare from place to place frequently.

I've had several of the Galaxy bags over the years and really like them. They're very durable with heavy pack cloth, big strong zippers, and tough stitching. The padding is not super thick, so I wouldn't trust them for shipping with a commercial carrier, but for someone handling their own drums, they're plenty adequate.

I bought this for my 12x15 field drum because of the economical value. Eventually I would like to get a hard case, but this is better than nothing. I don't think it quite matches the description though (no brass feet or "rich, high pile plush" lining). Also, the picture includes a shoulder strap, but mine did not come with one. The handle strap is too long for my liking, and I wish the bag was a bit more snug (there is a good 2-3 inches of extra space above the rim). If it wasn't for the price I would give it 3 stars. If I had a little more money I would buy something that actually matches the description, but this will have to do for now.
