Henry Bartlett has composed four different holidays for your percussion trio. All of the compositions take music associated with a specific holiday and recreate that special holiday feeling.
New Years- Auld Lang Syne combined with noise makers open this section to create a ball dropping atmosphere. After the ball drops Bartlett creates a feeling of a Cuban Celebration.
Washington's Birthday - Patriotic motives are utilized to honor America's first President.
Fourth Of July- The snare drum part in the beginning of this movement recreates a battlefield atmosphere to honor Americas Independence.
Cuban Christmas- A Cuban realization of the Christmas spirit.
