Matsushita-Interwaves III-P (includes demo CD)

Interwaves III by Isao Matsushita is an adavanced solo for multiple percussion. It is based on the rhythm of waves, as implied by the title. The movement in the piece consists of waves derived from a single tremor, made by a tuned roto-tom at the beginning of the work. The relationship between the trembling of two kinds of waves, vertical and horizontal, gradually evolves, as the composition moves toward the formation of one single undulation.
