Definitely One of the Best

Comments:

This is one of the most complete books about both musicianship on the keyboard and 4 mallet technique I've seen. If you had never seen a marimba in your life, you could start at the beginning of this book and be a proficient player by the end. Articles range from modes to sightreading to phrasing. Techniques covered range independent rolls to interval changes to different stroke types. And there is plenty of music to help you, ranging from beginner level 4 mallet etudes for 4-5 page solos for the advanced player. Prof. Z has truly done us a service with this one. Thank you!

Nancy Zeltsman Book

Comments:

This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to learn traditional grip and wants to learn how to put on a great performance and/or audition. A friend of mine is borrowing mine and he is loving it. He is even switching to traditional grip. After studying with Nancy and reading her book it all comes together and makes sense. Thanks a lot Nancy.
